Red Floc wines : Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon, Merlot, Tannat.
Age of the vines : 12 years.
Density of the plantations : 4000 vines per hectare.
Yield per hectare : 60 hectolitres/hectare.
Alcohol content : 17 %
Wine-making process : juice removed on pressing, fermented at low temperature. Stored in inox and enamail vats.
Packaging : 75 cl bottles.
Taste : Floc de Gascogne is made from a blend of fresh grape juice and fine Armagnac.
Serving advice : serve chilled between 8 and 10 degrees. Never serve it with ice ! Floc de Gascogne can be used as more than an aperitif - serve with foie gras, desserts, fruits, or sprinkle liberally over melon or mixed fruits and berries. Floc de Gascogne can add a distinctive touch to the beginning and end of a meal or evening.
