It was in 1883 that Monsieur Jean Cave created the house of Armagnac in Lannepax, a small town in the heart of the Bas-Armagnac region. Since then, several generation gave distilled, produced and aged the best brandy (Eaux de vie d'Armagnac). It is preserved in old oak barrels, then left to Mother Time to produce a delicious nectar.

L'Armagnac, comme toutes les eaux-de-vie, ne vieillit que s'il est conservé en fût.
Il ne vieillira plus à partir du moment où il sera mis en bouteille.
Par exemple, une bouteille d'Armagnac millésimé 1957 mise en bouteille en 2000 aura donc 43 ans d'âge en 2000, mais aura toujours 43 ans d'âge même en 2020 !!
